¿Black-headed gull? ¿Isn't the black of the wing tip too large? The photo was taken in Benares (India), on November 24th.

Yes, 1st winter brown headed gull.

Edit- Yes as in its not a black headed gull.

Are these the same species? They look somewhat different but the photo was taken just four minutes after the other.

Different, brown headed would have black that extends further up the leading primaries. *Black-headed gull.
