I believe the first bird is a Marbled Godwit. I would like to know what the second bird is - I have huge problems with peeps.

Could you give the dates, please? - that's often helpful in shorebird ID for understanding the plumage and state of moult (and should always be given with an ID request in any case). Thanks.
1. Yes.
2. I'd take it to be a semipalmated sandpiper - probably moulting into breeding plumage - depending on the date.
