Struggling a bit with ID of this shrike--Burmese? Brown? Photo taken in Dali, Yunnan, China in July.
Does the grayish neck head in combo with the rusty back point towards Burmese?

It looks like a juvenile Long-tailed Shrike to me. Barred scapulars, rump, flanks and crown indicate it is a juvenile (which are also browner than adults in this species).
