Hi, Im quite new to birdwatching an I'm looking for sites along the Medway of Gillingham and rainham, as this is close to home/uni. I'm aware of a couple public reserves, but Ive heard there is another private wild bird sanctuary and nature reserve. If any members know this site's location or name it would be much appreciated, so would any contact to it's owners, so I could politely ask if acess can be granted.

It's slighty outside my normal range - I'm Faversham based (do think about Oare Marshes and South Swale, it's not a long train journey).

If you're not already a member do join the Kent Ornithological Society, membership is ridiculously cheap: Kent Ornithological Society - Home
They've also got a facebook page where you could ask.

Hi Joe and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. We have a few sites listed in our Opus sections regarding places to visit in Kent, which you might find useful, just click on the individual site links from this page: Category:Kent - BirdForum Opus

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.
