Here is 8 different Lesser vs Greater blue-eared starlings from Gambia February 2019. I was mainly using eye-color back then to separate them, which I have now found out was pretty useless. After looking at hundreds of photos, I can't figure out if it's even possible to separate them without sound. Ear patch seems very variable, same with tail length, so I'm at stage rock bottom regarding these. Anyone having experience with these starlings?

I think most are lesser. 9471 looks like greater (long tail, robust bill) 9481 could be too but I can't judge this as easily
