Stock doves and hybridisation (2 Viewers)

Does anyone have any online resources and information on stock doves, do they commonly hybridise with other pigeon/dove sp's? Also just general information about their population and their habits/behaviours would also be appreciated.

Stock Doves are fairly common here & I've never seen a hybrid. Pigeons seem less prone to hybridisation than other groups such as geese, ducks, pheasants, raptors, etc.

Though I believe there are records of Wood Pigeon/ Rock Dove (feral/domestic) hybridising I've never seen such an example despite both birds feeding together in urban parks.

I've seen a Woodpigeon/Feral Pigeon hybrid at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst about five or six years ago, about the size of a Woodie visually but some Feral Pigeon plumage characters visible. Yeuch!

I knew they existed but haven't seen one. Given how abundant both species are they do seem genuinely rare, say compared with Canada x Greylag hybrids & these two species aren't even in the same genus.
