I need some advice please.
I've just taken delivery of an Opticron IS60, but unfortunately it fit on the Hama tripod I use for my photography.
Can anyone recommend a reasonable tripod with head, don't want to spend too much as I spent most of my spare money this month on the scope.

uhm whilst accepting that this is good value for money when buying a scope from in-focus (its £39) then £109 may be a little steep.

The IS60 is not that heavy so you don't need to spend a fortune. something from Velbon or Pyser for £70 or lower should be fine.

Manfrotto do some tripods for under the ton the 728B can be got for £80 for example

Velbon Sherpa 600 from W/E is basically the same as the Infocus Delta (but better - splittable columb and adjastable angle legs) also a lot cheaper.

PS ...... Although not advertised, mine came with a case so dont go ordering one at the same time!
