Trittiford mill pond and the dingles bird sightings (4 Viewers)

Last week, my first visit along the River Cole this year & good to find a juvenile Kingfisher just sat there in front of me. Downstream of Trittiford. 500+ minnows at one spot.

A pair of goosander on the Mill Pond this morning.

Great run this morning. Usual sightings of; blackbird, great and blue tits, robins, magpies, crows, wood pigeons and jackdaws. With highlights being;

Treecreeper
Parakeets
Little egret
Small flock of long tailed tuts
Small flock of goldfinch

The snowdrops are in full flower and the wild garlic is just unfolding, Spring must be coming
