unknown plover? / Austria (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I took this picture in the NP Neusiedlersee/Austria yesterday because I couldn´t identify the bird. But still I have no idea, maybe a Golden or Grey Plover?

- I left the two little ringed Plovers in the background in the picture, so the size of the unknown one gets more clear -

Thanks for any help

As Ola says , looks right for Grey, particularly with that bill.

Chris

p.s. Most people who speak English as a second language are far better at it than people born here. Austrian-English is probably far more understandable than a lot of our dialects - even to us ;)

got another one

Hi,

there were several reports of Pygmy Cormorants in the area by Club300 members? In my opinion this has to be one beside the coot, isn´t it?

Cool,

that´s my 200 species!

Harvest and spring are still the best seasons to look for something uncommon.

Thanks to all, who helped identifying,

cheers
