What did you see in your binoculars today? (4 Viewers)

Man, you guys are cunning. I simply spend time in the kitchen to make breakfast exactly in the time-window of delivery, which I checked via tracking. From the kitchen window I can see the street, so I hurry down before the post lady rings the bell.
But sometimes I just don't care. And if my wife asks what I spent, my standard answer is 30€, no matter what the bino actually cost. It's not like she's gonna google what the real prices are. It helps that we have separate bank accounts as we are both self-employed and keep our business transactions separate.
Wait a second here Philipp, you mean you’re lying to your wife (maybe some would prefer I’d be politically correct) your significant other? I didn’t say anything about lying, that’s blasphemy 😉.

I studied law, I made no specific statement that anything in the box was for her. I said don’t open the boxes addressed to you, I bought you something. One part is telling her a box is coming with her name on it, and not to open it. The other part says that I bought her something. Nothing there says that it’s in those specific boxes addressed to her. I might not be very religious, but I’m not taking any chances 😉.

This was at Wakodahatchee wetlands. Here we didn’t need to be bathed in Deet, thankfully because we had the EL’s 🤪

For us yes. Been unseasonably cool till this weekend. Finally got to 70s.

More interestingly and not obvious that’s the Pierce Point Tule Elk preserve. Imagine a 4.5 mile trail that is couple hundred feet above Pacific Ocean on one side and Tamales Bay on the other. Wild Elk wandering about. Gorgeous place

I had a nice long observation of an adult loon pair feeding minnows to their two young. It was a beautiful morning in the northwooods of Wisconsin! I had both my 8x and 10.5x with me at the time, and it was a treat to watch their long breakfast ritual.

I very much envy you that experience.

(but not your northwoods winters)
