Sent by a friend near Penang, Malaysia they found this bird injured but have no idea what it is. Merlin came up with Asian Koel but the photos available don't show such a vivid green colour and the dark green adult males don't seem to have the banding on the tail feathers. Females and juveniles have banding but seem to be more beige/cream colours.
