Whimbrel or Curlew (1 Viewer)

Can someone tell me is this a Whimbrel or a Curlew, I am confused atm.

Seen at Willington NR earlier this year.

I'd say Curlew. Bill longer and more evenly decurved, lack of distinct dark eyestripe. Just my five cents though, wouldn't bank on it!
 
Looks a lot like the dude I photographed, which was positively identified as a Curlew.

As you can see from this montage, the bill can look more curved or even different in length due to the angle at which the bird was photographed.
