White-tailed Eagles in Ireland (1 Viewer)

http://www.irishtimes.com/news/firs...hatch-in-ireland-for-over-100-years-1.1386127

Two pairs have hatched chicks in the wild in Ireland, first in about 110 years.

Fantastic news. I must admit I was told about this when I was working in Ireland a few weeks ago (thanks guys), and really enjoyed seeing my first Irish eagle. I really hope Ireland embrace the opportunities of having some mega fauna to see in the wonderful scenery. I know some Irish land owners don’t see these birds in the same light, but hopefully the positives can be realised.

I only hope they are allowed to survive,as I believe some re-Introduced Golden Eagles from Scotland have perished over there.
