Please note: Master Raffaele has travelled to Aspromonte in Reggio Calabria, heartland of the 'ndràngheta. An Italian friend of his, Giovanni Tigri, has now told us that Raffaele did not attend the meeting they had arranged in Gioia Tauro. In the bar they were supposed to meet, Tigri was only given a handwritten message (though not from master Raffaele's hand), saying that Raffaele had already left for San Luca, the infamous village on the foot of the Aspromonte. That's where it all began. Wish him luck. TRC
