Hi All.
Is it possible for a swallow to over-winter in the UK. :frog:
I have my Doubts!
People have been reporting to have seen swallows in:November-December,and
also in January-February.

Jeff, after the past couple of winters here, I believe anything is possible. In my severe winter conditions, I've had starlings, a juvenile white crowned sparrow (for part of the winter), and pine siskins spend the winter here. I have never before seen this!
I firmly believe that birds are much tougher than we give them credit for and can handle much worse conditions than they're meant to.
