Hi,

looking for a site in France or Spain where I would be able to find wintering Skylarks and Chaffinches in January.

I´m a Finnish nature photographer and writer working on a narrative book telling a story of Finnish migratory birds.

Thank you in advance!

I believe you would be better putting your request on the France and Spain separate threads, Skyark and Chaffinch should be Common Birds in France and Spain.

Regards, John.

Had fair numbers round Tarbes on Saturday. Also large flock of
Lapwing, two Black Shouldered Kites and a Great Grey Shrike....

The Camargue/La Crau area of France usually has good numbers of wintering Skylarks and Finches....last winter it was also heaving with Blue Tits, after the large Scandinavian eruption.
