Yellowhammer Flight Call? (Belgium) (1 Viewer)

I've recorded this call during migration counting in Belgium. I'm thinking Yellowhammer, but it's not to clear. I'm not able to find good recordings to compare. What do you guy's think?

welcome to Birdforum from me too!

Like KC, I struggle with this appearant single call. I can only hear a single note, which makes it even harder for me (plus the usual cavaets).
No offence to a new member, and I preume this is the only call you recorded and thanks for "adding some sound around, including a human voice (that really helps putting the single call in the right context).

With so many caveats, I still agree with you, it might well be a Yellowhammer, including the right faint "rasping quality, I think I can make out?). Please compare: XC822246 Yellowhammer (Emberiza citrinella)

Thanks for the input. Im gonna go with 'probably a Yellowhammer, but not sure'.

Maybe my next investment needs to be a decent recorder ;-)
