Leptasthenura setaria

Identification

17 cm. Black head streaked with white, distinctive crest,chestnut upperparts, duskier on wings and tail, underparts ochraceous, white speckled dusky throat.

Distribution

Argentina and Brazil.

Taxonomy

Monotypic.

Habitat

Moist montane forests, particularly pines, and plantations.
