Spent a great week in Gambia birding and would just like to share a day at Pirang with you,this place is a tiger prawn farm which is still in use but on a small scale.I went with two guides a young man named Amadou and a young man named Almamy and with there help I saw the following birds there.
Yellow billed stork,scared Ibis,african spoonbill,pink pelican,great pelican,Long crested eagle,Black crown crane,spur winged goose little swift,plain backed pipit,white faced duck,wood sandpiper,black billed dove,greater flamingo,pied winged swallow,wire-tailed swallow,red chested swallow,gull billed tern,little tern,caspian tern.
