CDC Warns of Increased Risk of Deadly Vampire Bats (1 Viewer)

Worst news ever for bats.... Rednecks will shoot first and ask questions later, now. This was covered on national news tonight with a background video of thousands of bats flying...implying they were the invaders on the video. WNS problems are bad enough without the hyped up bad press making things worse. Just to make it clear--the person was bitten in Mexico and then came to the US--the bats are indigenous to central America and are not in the US.

And actually, if I'm not mistaken, the bite did not happen here in the States. It happened in Mexico before the migrant worker arrived here.
