Is this a Great Blue Skimmer? (1 Viewer)

I digiscoped this dragonfly in foothills of s. Colorado. It apprears to be a Great Blue Skimmer, any discussion on Id. Van

This dragonfly is quite interesting. It looks very much like a Great Blue, but the wings are all wrong. This one only has the typical stigma (black mark on wing), whereas Great Blues should also have a black nodal spot (a spot farther down the wing) and black on the tips of the wings. From what i can see this one doesn't have these markings.

Also, Great Blue Skimmer is primarily a southeastern, east coast species, not coming very close to Colorado.

I dont know much about western dragonflies, so at the moment I don't think I can ID this one.
 
Well it is definitely not a Great Blue Skimmer for the reasons Gecsos mentioned. I don't have my guide here at the office but it looks remarkably like the Blue Dasher
 
My second choice was the the Bleached Skimmer, but wasn't sure on white face with blue eyes, the Great Blue Skimmer has this and maybe the bleached. I think the Blue Dasher has green eyes. Van
