Little Terns Beacon Ponds (1 Viewer)

Hi, Does anybody have information on the Little Tern colony at Beacon Ponds? The most recent info I can find on the web is related to 2003 with a zero success rate. Is it still there? If so has the recent weather harmed it?

Thinking of planning a trip that way in July so any info appreciated.

Thanks,
Paul

Just read this on the yorkshire post website

A combination of heavy rain and high tides washed out all the nesting little terns at Beacon Ponds on the Holderness coast, just before many of their eggs were about to hatch.

Hopefully there may still time for them to attempt to nest again before the end of the breeding season.
