Black Turnstones watercolor (1 Viewer)

One of the joys of being a beginning birder is so many new ones. Here is a page from my sketchbook of Black Turnstones. Just a small group of 5 I spotted while looking at some white pelicans and herons along Bodega Bay in No. Calif. It was almost dark and I almost missed them, did some sketches did the rest from some very blurry photos, and looking them up in my
Sibley to find out what they were. I like this little sketch which really does convey the way they were so busy
