African migrant (Catopsilia florella)

when they fly under the sun they look white, only when they land on green setting there beautiful green show. the female is yellow and a bit larger. much harder to spot.

It beautifully bends in with the leaves. In fact, your picture has motivated me to take a closer look at the butterflies around me. I saw quite a few of them past summer, but I never paid closer attention.
