What a handsome goldfinch! I love these little birds but they are so tricky to photograph because they move so fast and are quite shy. Wonderful close up shot! They visit me on my balcony sometimes and always bring a smile to my face.

That's a tremendous picture you've taken too - very well done.

The orientation of the picture you uploaded was wrong, so I hope you don't mind that I've slight recropped it and got it the right way up now?
