American Robin
Phil Juvet

American Robin (Turdus migratorius)

Female Robin at the Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge in Washington state. I was sitting in my car in the parking lot when a large group of Robins and Waxwings landed in a bush nearby. I photographed them from my car while they fed on berries. What luck.
Habitat
Forest next to a large body of water.
Location
Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge
Date taken
9-12-2013
Scientific name
Turdus migratorius
Equipment used
Cannon EOS 5D MK III with Canon 100-400 mm lens.
And what fun it must have been photographing them. Great job on this one Phil. Our berries will be ripe in a couple months and I'm anxious to see them.
