Thank you for your comments.We know of the split,but wanted to know if you thought it justified,having seen the bird.A lot of previous taxonomic decisions,by so called experts,have not always been justified.Thanks again for posting this image.
 
Thanks for your input Hans and Judy, I always assumed that what you see in the guide book to be generably accepted, but it seems some decisions continue to be contrversial. If spot the little fantail again and can get a photo of him from behind, I'll post it.
