Barefaced Crow (Corvus frugilegus)

Yes,this apparently ,is the local name for Rook.

I do enjoy taking shots of corvids ,and I now have

a pr of rooks visiting my garden feeders.several times a day, usually just the one,but occassionally the partner arrives,Quite strange,as I did not think that Rooks ate bird seed, but this pr,eat anything they can dig their super long beaks into. All shots have to be taken through the window.

Gawd Christine! What a face that is.

You've got some close-up here lass. A great shot.

Were you sitting next to it by any chance? ;)

A beautiful capture Christine. I would imagine if there are chicks needing to be fed, they will grab anything to feed them.
