Blue-gray Tanager - Thraupis episcopus
One of my favourite shots from CR. Its one of those photos where everything seemed to work out well. This is one of the more common Tanager species, and I tried several times to get a photo that would show just how pretty this bird is.
Well at last I managed to get what I was after with this shot.

Gorgeous profile of this beautiful tanager. Excellent lighting showing gorgeous feather detail, focus, dof, color saturation, eye contact, and complimentary background. Fantastic!!!!
