For two years I've tried to get close enough to these Brolgas for some desent shots with no luck, the slightest sound and they're off. Today I decided to have a little snooze on the ground only to be woken by their calls!

Almost look like the same birds we saw in that area. Unfortunately I did not get a chance to photograph them but a friend of mine did. The photos did not turn very good. Well done for your photo, great capture.
