Habitat: Pines and oaks in Sierra Foothills.

Location: Grass Valley, CA

Date taken: 11-12-2013

Scientific name: Bombycilla cedrorum

Equipment used: Cannon EOS 5D MK III with Canon 100-400 mm lens.

Thats quite the mouthful.

What a great shot! I love these waxwings but am still waiting for the larger flock to arrive for our berries.
