Chestnut-crowned Laughingthrush (Trochalopteron melanostigma)

Picture shows the Thai subspecies which looks less colorful than the Malayan subspecies. Both are again quite different from the subspecies in the database photo.
This bird seemed quite accustomed to the crowds on the summit of Doi Inthanon and could be approached down to 2 meters.
