Habitat
large alkaline or saline lakes or estuarine lagoons that usually lack vegetation
Location
Puerto Madryn, Argentina
Date taken
30-07-2005
Scientific name
Phoenicopterus Chilensis
Equipment used
nikon d70, 80-400vr (without filter)
I wonder if they have checked the Field Guide to verify they are Flamingos, no Ducks!!! ;) Sorry, it is a silly joke, but I couldn't resist after seeing those Flamingos "swimming". An unusual pic, I like the detail of those feathers being lifted by the wind. Great post!
