These sparrows migrate to this region in the colder months. This one was puffed up to stay warm on a recent 24° F day between two winter storms in the same week.

I bet this lovely sparrow species wished it had migrated a little further south (lol). Lovely close-up behavioral picture of this lovely sparrow. TFS Mlynchky!
