CUCKOO (GREY)

Heard the distinctive Cuckoo whilst walking through a busy local picnic site - it appeared in a small tree directly ahead of me. not the greatest photo but I had no cover and rather than approach the Cuckoo I took a few photos from where I stood. Luckily I had my Nikon V1 with 1.4x TC and 70-200mm VR lens. The photo has been put through DxO Optics and then PSE to crop and filter with Focus Magic and Noise Ninja. I wish it was a better photo but it was a completely unexpected sighting - in fact the first Cuckoo I have ever seen..
