Cuckoo

Had an afternoon in glorious sunshine in the New Forest yesterday now that lockdown is eased. It could be me but it seems there are more Cuckoo's , Redstarts and Spotted Flycatchers about. I wonder if this is due in some way to the effects of the virus.

Beautiful shot of the Cuckoo and magnificent sky. Yes....there are loads of Cuckoos calling.

You really do have a good eye for an artistic shot (if you don't mind me saying?) as the setting you've found him in is just beautiful. I just love the colours in the sky.

Beautiful composition with the cuckoo silhouetted against that lovely sunset. I never did see a cuckoo in the UK when I lived there - heard plenty though!
