Very aesthetic Tim - soft and almost moving lines. Nice touch with another species in the foreground :up::up:
 
Charcoal too???!!! Is there anything you can't do???? That's being an artist!!! Lovely piece of work. And Hans is right, that Lapwing in the foreground add something special to the composition. Thanks for sharing this piece! Cheers!

just found this one, I love it, the rhythm between the birds creates a lot of movement and makes me feel very homesick for curlews!
 
I am not much good at art critique but to me the drwaing is evocative and reminds me very much of a scene in Irelad ...a place called the South Slops where curlew and apwing were present ..Nice one Tim.
