A very grumpy young Little Owl, during the hot summer it was great spending the evenings watching this family in the local farm yard. They successfully raised 2 chicks despite the exceptionally hot weather.

No he wasn't. At the time the parents were sitting above him keeping Jackdaws away. At one stage I was very tempted to pick him up and put him back in the barn. Then he jumped up and did it himself to my relief
