First flight
I went over to Derby on Wednesday to check out the peregrines nesting on the cathedral. The first of the two chicks had fledged on Monday and I was lucky enough to be there when the second one took its first flight.

I got some nice shots of it on its first flight - and its first attempt at a landing which didn't go entirely according to plan.

Then we lost track of it and we spent some time searching for it - they sometimes end up grounded and have to be rescued. But we found it OK on a nearby building and it seems to be doing fine now.
