Such an uplifting image - I see BUDS!!

Your are absolutely correct - it is a Goldfinch. They love sunflower hearts and niger seed so you may attract more if you don’t already have feeders up.

We don't have goldfinches here except in autumn, spring and summer...

My wife has hung a small net of crushed sunflower seeds in a lilac bush in our front yard and the goldfinchs get on it quite often. Often there are even two of them who drive away each other enviously.
