Great Egret in Moonlight 9x12 pastel

I've spent the last 3 weeks camped out by(not under) a huge egret roost tree, learning, drawing, and just watching all the activity. I saw a moment like this just at the very top of the tree, against a blue sky. I've been interested for some time in white animals in the moonlight, so I decided to use that light for this pastel. Pastel is the best medium to convey light IMO...so it's a natural for this bird.
