Green Heron with a frog for breakfast (Butorides virescens)

I finally got some good photos of a Green Heron. This guy was very confiding and allowed me within 20 feet of him as he hunted. I kept moving along the raised berm I was on as he worked his way down the brackish pond. Finally I saw him tense up and lunge (the picture of him striking is pretty interesting - his wings actually went into the water while fully outspread) an he came out with a juicy frog.
