What a great area that is.

Some years ago I stays in a house just up the road from the Meter. It had been pouring rain all day on the drive there. I woke at first light and the first thing I saw was a barnie hunting the field opposite. Later in the day we saw another hunting from one of the hides too. I suppose they were pretty desperate for food after the wet conditions the day before. Wonder if this is the child, or grandchild of the one I saw!!?
