Kittiwake (Larus tridactyla)

The Kittiwake is such a beautiful maritime Gull and I came across this individual on Inner Farne Island. It just stood there with its eyes closed at the time of the shot with the rock in the foreground and the sea in the background.

I sat alone when I took the shot. There was just me, the Kittiwake, Puffins, Shags and Razorbills!!!
