As I think this photo is a better representative of the Lark Sparrow I posted yesterday, I am posting this one for ducbucln who was concerned about how close they looked to a female Black-headed Grosbeak.

This is one beautiful closeup of this Lark Sparrow Gus.

I have a secret love for this Sparrow. I was the finder of one over here on the east coast. Phone didn't stop ringing for a week ;)

A beautiful photo of this lovely bird, Gus! The perspective is nice, and that little spot of light in the eye, well ... that goes beyond words! Love it!
