Masked intruder (Quelea quelea)

I had been sitting out the return of a Kingfisher to a favoured perch, my first of this season along side a ditch at Adhari - no Kingfisher but a fleeting chance on a Pied Wheatear persuaded me to persist - I did and ended up with this - not exactly the booby prize but .....

They seem to be breeding quite well Mr. Grumpy, lets hope their appetite for seeds doesn't start an indiscriminate cull. :eek!:
