Merlin and Blue Jays

This falcon was not really being harassed, but I guess just being watched. I saw the same behavior last week when the Merlin was eating a dragonfly in the same tree, attended by three jays. This Merlin has been hanging out in the area for a couple weeks now.

A great capture and interesting narrative, dak.

Great action shot of this Merlin being told in every possible way to move on (lol). Terrific work dak! TFS!
