Obi Cicadabird
Now split from the "Common Cicadabird"' there is apparently no published information on the diet of this species but we observed this one eating a katydid. Cicadabirds are named because of their Cicada-like buzzing calls. This is a female. The male is almost entirely gray. Formerly placed in the genus "Coracina".

Jikotamo, Obi, South Halmahera Regency, North Maluku, Indonesia.
