Peekaboo!
So on that Thursday, daughter took a detour on her way to work and dropped me off at the gates of Prince's Park. That way I could get the most out of the short daylight hours. No sooner had I stepped through the gates than I heard a high-pitched tweet. I was pretty sure it sounded like Goldcrest, which was surprising since at my age Goldcrests are usually inaudible. But sure enough ... there he was, very busily foraging in a Blue something Spruce (sorry, I don't remember the full name of that tree). I got only 3 shots before he flew off, but I got lucky. This one is as shot. I could have cropped in closer, but I quite like the framing. Pure luck, of course, but we have to get lucky SOMEtimes.
