Periquito-da-caatinga (Eupsittula cactorum)

É uma ave da ordem dos Psittaciformes, família dos Psittacidae. Mede 25Cm. Tem a cabeça e corpo verde-acastanhada, dorso verde-oliva, asas verdes com as pontas azuis, peito alaranjado, bico marrom e barriga amarela. É conhecido por vários nomes, dependendo da região: Gangarra, Griguilim, Curiquinha, jamdaia, etc. É bastante sociável em convívio com humanos.
